Besides the amazing playability and comfort, the Boden Plini Edition delivers a wide palette of musical sounds with a distinct sonic character due to its neck-thru-body construction. Compared to the bolt-on, the sound is punchier and more focused with enhanced sustain. The woods were carefully selected and matched to maximize the natural acoustic characteristics of the design and construction. Swamp Ash’s punchy high midrange complements the chambered body wings. Combined with the 5-ply carbon fiber reinforced Maple neck-thru-body, solid Maple top with Australian Blackwood veneer and Richlite fretboard which provide rigidity, focus and upper midrange brilliance, the Plini Edition Neck-Thru has an exceptionally balanced acoustic character. The Suhr humbuckers with special 3-way wiring deliver wide range of great humbucker and single-coil sounds in a minimalist layout.
