GENERAL INFO
The guitars in the first run boasts a bolt-on construction with a newly sculpted neck joint heel, set upon a chambered Honduran Mahogany body. Choose from three captivating finishes: Orange Stain with Red Resin, Dark Blue Stain with Sky Blue Resin, or Emerald Green with Gold Resin. Weighing approximately 2.3kg or 5 lbs, each model is crafted in Japan.
BODY
Honduran Mahogany body wood and all-solid Buckeye top with finish options in Orange Stain with Red Resin fill, Dark Blue Stain with Sky Blue Resin fill, and Emerald Green Stain with Gold Resin fill, each offering a visual aesthetic that suits this handcrafted piece.
NECK
The J Artisan’s neck is masterfully crafted from Wenge and reinforced with Purple Heart fillet, complemented by our signature EndurNeck™ profile. Choose from three distinct fretboard options: Wenge, Flame Maple, or Ebony, all set to a 20” radius. It features 24 frets, and Sanko SUS315 Stainless Steel Fretwire. It’s strung with D’Addario NYXL 10-46 for standard EADGBE tuning.
HARDWARE
The first run of the J Artisan models boasts the state-of-the-art .strandberg* EGS Rev 7 fixed bridge and string lock, paired beautifully with black anodized hardware. To accentuate the design, they feature Original Luminlay™ Green Side Dots and Inlays.
SONIC PROFILE
For an unmatched sonic profile, the J Artisan run #1 is equipped with an H-H pickup configuration featuring black-bobbin Suhr™ SSV humbucker at the neck and Suhr™ SSH+ humbucker at the bridge. Navigate your tone with a 3-way blade pickup selector offering options from Neck Humbucker, a blend of Neck + Bridge Humbucker, to solely the Bridge Humbucker. Rounding out the tonal versatility is a master volume with push-pull coil-tap functionality and a dedicated master tone control.
ACCESSORIES
Each J Artisan run #1 guitar comes with a deluxe gig bag to ensure its protection. Inside, you’ll find a certificate of authenticity affirming its premium build. For adjustments on the go, an Allen Key Kit is included, and should you need it, there’s an option to include a strap. If you want to hang your J Artisan on the wall, you can use the screw mounted wall hanger.
