Carrying the torch for new progressive fusion

Camilla Sperati

Explore

Camilla Sperati is a 23-year-old fusion guitarist based in Rome, Italy. At the age of 11, she got her first guitar. Thanks to her musical background, she always listened to a lot of different genres and absorbed diverse styles of music. As she got more and more into guitar playing, she felt the need to record and write her own songs.

In 2017, Camilla was awarded a full scholarship from the Berklee College Of Music ‘Summer Course’ of Boston. While attending Berklee, she had the opportunity to study with some of the best teachers in the funk and fusion field.

Camilla’s interest in composition led her to record and publish her first EP Moonrise, a 5-track mini album written and arranged by her, and mixed by Alex Argento (Icefish, Marco Sfogli). The EP is available on all streaming platforms.

In May of 2023,  Camilla opened as a ‘guest artist’ with her quartet for the Steve Vai Masterclass in Benevento, Italy. She is also incredibly active with session work and also collaborates with several artists from all over the world.

We are thrilled to be working alongside an exciting up-and-coming artist such as Camilla and can’t wait to see where her incredible playing takes her.
