Madeira Ukulele 4 Natural (April Fool’s 2021)

SKU: MD4CT-41F-O-O-LS

We hope you had as much fun with this April Fool’s project as we had! Judging by the interest, we should probably make a real ukulele at some point! Join us for our Facebook Livestream on April 6 to hear all about how this came about, and about our real project launches. /Ola

The Madeira ukulele represents the turn of a leaf in the history of .strandberg* with the first venture into acoustic instruments. The Madeira name comes from the origins of the ukulele – it does not in fact originate from Hawaii, which most people would assume.

With a 12″ – 13″ fanned scale, our patented EndurNeck, and piezo bridges, it represents a revolution in the field – fitting for a .strandberg* instrument! Made from the highest grade solid Acacia, and with a Richlite fretboard and stainless steel jumbo frets from Jescar, no corners were cut in the production.

Recognizing that the extended range instruments that we originally became known for, the Madeira reduces the complexity of the instrument by 75% with only 50% of the scale length and 50% of the number of strings of an 8-string guitar.
