Alon Tamir is an Israeli-based guitarist and composer, known for his extremely nuanced dynamic and melodic style of jazz and fusion playing, which is simultaneously balanced with blazingly fast and articulate modern progressive rock and metal.

In his formative years, Alon studied jazz guitar extensively while also exploring the endless world of rock and progressive music. With his band, Project RnL, Alon has toured all over the world, collaborated with artists such as Jordan Rudess of Dream Theater and Jack Conte of Pomplamoose, and has gained substantial exposure on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.

Alon is currently involved with his band Parsec, who are working on their next album. He is constantly performing with several local artists, as well as producing bands and teaching at the Rimon School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in Ramat Hasharon, Israel. He is also finishing his debut solo album, which is due to be released later this year.
