Our Homage to the Legend

Boden Classic 6 ‘Svarten’ Limited Edition

What Makes It Special?

The Boden Classic is the .strandberg* take on the tried-and-true traditional bolt-on solidbody electric guitars with a pickguard. Featuring solid Alder body with Roasted Maple neck and fretboard, the overall sound is familiar yet with the distinctive .strandberg* sound and feel. The understated black satin finish with parchment pickguard imparts a comfortable and classic vibe while the Suhr™ Thornbucker Plus raw nickel cover humbucker in the bridge position and the V60LP single-coil pickups provide truly amazing classic and modern rock/pop sounds to cover virtually any playing style and musical genre.

What Does It Do?

Premium-grade two-piece Alder body coupled with Roasted Maple neck and fretboard produces a big and fat sound with a focused punch that .strandberg* guitars have become known for. The satin body finish not only looks classy but feels luxurious and smooth to the touch while the 3-piece roasted Maple neck with carbon fiber reinforcement provides rock-solid stability while the expertly dressed stainless steel frets facilitate fast and precise playing and silky-feeling string bends.

Who Is It For?

Although the styling and sound may seem ideally suited for classic rock, the Classic Svarten LE can easily cover a wide range of sounds from pop and reggae to shred and modern metal without missing a beat. The solidbody construction and the pickups on a pickguard give the Classic models a different type of feel and sound from our other models but it is still uniquely .strandberg* with its trademark clarity, articulation, and an organic woody character.

The new ‘Svarten’ Limited Edition demonstrates the scalability of the Boden design and takes the Boden Classic platform to the uppermost echelon of high-performance electric guitars. Featuring solid two-piece premium Alder wood for the body and Roasted Maple neck and fretboard, and stainless steel frets for righteous acoustic tonal characteristics and butter smooth playability, the addition of the ideal Suhr™ HSS pickup configuration elevates the Classic to a serious musical instrument for the most demanding musicians who only seek the very best.

Unique Qualities

Anatomy of a Strandberg

There are many design elements and factors that comprise a .strandberg* guitar. Each aspect - from the materials and components used to the ergonomic design features - has been carefully thought out and implemented to produce a guitar that is light weight, easy to play and has a big woody organic sound. Explore these different aspects that set a .strandberg* guitar apart from the rest.

By removing weight from the headstock, your guitar can be made very light and yet balanced. You can play with greater comfort for longer.

Versatile Body Shape

The body shape provides multiple seated playing positions for maximum comfort and versatility.

Scale Lengths Adapted to You

A multi-scale design allows your wrist to remain relaxed throughout the range of play. A longer scale length for the heavier strings provide better tone, and shorter in the thinner strings better playability.

Patented Neck Profile

Our patented EndurNeck™ profile promotes a more correct playing position. The result: you can play longer, faster, better and avoid injury.

Space Age Materials

Our hunt for great tone and low weight led us to using aircraft grade aluminium and carbon fiber for maximum performance.

Proprietary Hardware

The custom .strandberg* hardware is a vital contributor to the tone of the instrument. Lightweight aircraft grade aluminium and tight coupling of components ensure that nothing prevents the strings' vibrations from entering the body.
