ACME VitalGrip Guitar Strap
A bit expensive for a guitar strap, but well worth it for something that holds my Strandberg easily in perfect playing position, very comfortable and natural feeling! Although the straplocks make removing the strap a bit difficult, my boden 7 fits snugly in the gig bag with the strap attached.
Thank you for the review, Johnny!
I just bought another one for my new Bogen Standard 6. Yes, it’s a little pricey for a strap but IMHO it’s the perfect strap for these instruments. I’m a little on the short side, 5’-7, and the strap length is plenty long enough for me. I’m too old to wear my guitar below my waist and I prefer the Bogen much higher than I do a normal guitar. Super comfortable and by all appearances seems like it will last quite a while. The locking system is very easy to use. If you get stuck just check out the video on Basiner’s you tube channel. It’s 20 seconds of your life well spent! One big hassle I had with other straps on my Bogen was they would twist around every single time, and I’d have to unwind them. This strap isn’t immune to that, but it does it much less and it’s normally just a single turn to get it in line. There’s also no metal to bang up the finish. I also like that I can just keep the strap on all the time even in the bag. They are a little squeaky when you first put them on and it’s annoying, but it goes away after a short time. Overall, I highly recommend this accessory for your awesome Strandberg instrument!
Thanks for the review, Allan. Glad you like the strap.
Amazing strap. A bit short for my liking.hort for my liking.
This would literally be the most amazing strap I've come across if it were about three inches longer! Still love it though <3.
Thanks for the review, Cody!
Best Strap for your Strandberg
It's secure snd soft and I leave it on my Strandbergs with no worry that it will scratch the finish. Great strap!
Thanks for the 5 stars, Michael!
VitalGrip Guitar Strap
Pro's: - Puts the Strandberg guitar in an optimal playing position. - Seems to be well made. - Locking mechanism design is pretty solid. Con's: - Pretty difficult to get on/off...but at least you know it won't come off accidentally. I just leave it on the guitar. - The combination of material and tight "new" fit cause the locking ends to squeak loudly as they rub on the strap buttons. This can be fixed by applying a thin layer of lubricant to the strap button. - The strap is quite narrow. A little extra width would make it more comfortable.
Thanks for the great review, Stephen. I think most of what you are noticing will disappear over time as the strap gets worn in. It will not become wider of course...! Our argument is that the guitars are so light that we can manage with a narrower strap. /Ola
