Nathania Jualim is an Indonesian female guitarist, singer-songwriter, and music creator known for her expressive playing, versatility, and strong presence in the modern guitar scene. Beginning her musical journey at a young age, she explored piano and drums before finding her passion for the guitar - an instrument that would later shape her identity as a musician. Drawing from pop, blues, rock, and jazz, she developed a distinctive style that is both expressive and technically refined, later honing her craft at the Conservatory of Music in Indonesia, where she specialized in guitar performance and earned her degree.
Over time, she built a reputation through both live performances and social media, where her guitar performances and educational content have attracted a large following and influenced many young musicians.
She released her debut EP Metamorfosa in 2019 and continues to produce original music. Blending multiple styles such as acoustic, pop, rock, and jazz, she creates a signature sound that feels melodic, smooth, and easy to listen to. “Sunset” and “Harmonia” went viral, highlighting her signature fingerstyle, melodic approach, and natural sense of phrasing. She continues to evolve her sound through new releases, including her latest single, “Turning Point,” inspired by her ongoing musical journey and creative exploration.
Alongside her solo journey, Nathania is also the vocalist and guitarist of her band Catur Rupa. Her artistry moves fluidly between intimate solo works, collaborative projects, and large-scale orchestral performances, including appearances with the Erwin Gutawa Orchestra.
Now performing on the global stage, Nathania serves as a guitarist for Indonesian artist Tulus while also breaking new ground internationally as one of the first Indonesian session guitarists to tour in China. She is currently part of Wang Leehom’s touring band, performing in major stadium productions and reaching audiences across borders.

"I’m always searching for instruments that inspire something new in my playing. A well-designed guitar - lightweight, balanced, with a unique neck - can completely change the experience. It allows for greater comfort, control, and expression, especially during long sessions. Discovering a headless guitar for the first time opened up a new perspective for me - both technically and creatively." - Nathania Jualim
