Lin Thant is a guitarist, producer, and songwriter from Myanmar, known for his expressive playing, technical precision, and modern approach to rock and metal. He picked up the guitar at the age of 8 and began gaining widespread recognition in Myanmar at just 12. Over the years, Lin has continued to build his name and influence, becoming one of the most popular and beloved guitarists of his generation in Myanmar. His playing has earned him a remarkably diverse and dedicated audience, from young aspiring musicians to longtime music lovers in their 50s and 60s, as well as the admiration and respect of some of Myanmar’s most legendary musicians and artists.
