However, this line of instruments did not feature any basses until 2024 when the Boden Bass Standard 5 was released to widespread acclaim. The Standard Series basses have a full and focused tonal character combined with an appearance that effortlessly joins natural beauty with simplicity. These are the basses of choice for players seeking the lowest possible weight, perfect balance, supreme playability, and a plethora of different tonalities all available in a single instrument.
Sound
The core of the Standard series basses is their solid Basswood bodies combined with Maple necks and fretboards that produce a tone that is naturally deep while preserving note clarity crucial to the lower register of bass.
