What makes it special?
What does it do?
Who is it for?
The Prog was developed for progressive rock/metal players who need a cutting tone, slick playability and a smooth-functioning tremolo system. The body consists of Swamp Ash to provide punchy high-mids, 4A Flame Maple top for added brilliance and tightness and Ebony fretboard for more high-end presence or “sizzle” that authoritatively cuts through a dense mix.
The Suhr SSH+ bridge humbucker and SSV neck passive humbuckers for the 6-string and the Fishman Fluence Modern active humbuckers produce a wealth of great sounds from squeaky clean to over-the-top distortion and everything in between with character and authority. The Ebony fretboard, the only distinguishing feature from the Original model versions, provides the bright cutting character as well as a smooth and sleek feel for increased speed and ease of string bending.

The guitar came with a perfect adjustment. It was ready to play. I expected a high quality product and that is what I got. The distorted sound was as good as I had expected, but the clean sound was much better than what I had expected. The neck and the freatboard are super comfortable. The only thing that I struggled with is the access to the higher notes, it is not as comfortable as my Ibanez S series. I have had to relearn how to reach them and, fortunately, it is not a problem anymore. The pickups are are super sensitive, so you will have to pay extra attention to mute all the unwantened sounds. If you are a 7string first timer, you will have to learn how to mute not 6, but 7 strings. In a nutshell: great guitar, super comfortable, great sound. I am pondering buying another one.
This guitar is absolutely gorgeous, the ebony fretboard coupled with the EndurNeck play so smoothly that it's unreal. The Fluences are by far my favorite so far, surpassing the Juggernaut's in my old main guitar by far. This is definitely the most comfortable guitar around.
This guitar has been absolutely amazing. Even straight out of the box, I didn’t even need to do a setup it was perfectly in tune. Everything is designed for the player with no limits. It’s so easy to maneuver across with the Enduroneck eliminating all awkward thumb placements on the neck allowing all chords and improv to be done comfortably regardless of difficulty. The fanned frets add to the comfort that exists playing this guitar along with really keeping that tension in the low B string. The fishman fluence pickups breathe so many different tones in one guitar, everything from glassy cleans to a snarling distorted tone, these pups can handle anything. Overall I absolutely love this guitar and couldn’t be happier with my purchase :)
Great guitar. Sounds good and is interesting to play with its speacial neck and multiscale frets.
