In conjunction with the chambered Swamp Ash body, the tonal character is strong in the high-midrange for a full yet punchy response while also delivering tight lows and a sweet singing high-end. The neck is constructed of Wenge with Purple Heart fillets for beauty and rock-solid stability and has an oil finish for a fast and smooth feel. There are three options for the fretboard: Flame Maple, Wenge, and Ebony – each providing a unique visual and sonic match to the body. The EGS Rev7 6-string fixed bridge and combined string lock delivers solid tone, tuning stability, and easy maintenance. The complex and rich acoustic characteristics of these instruments are faithfully captured by a set of Suhr™ SSV/SSH+ Humbucking pickups with tuned push-pull coil-split functionality on the tone control for tonal versatility. All J Artisan guitars are delivered in the heavily padded .strandberg* Deluxe Gig Bag and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity, a .strandberg* VitalGrip Guitar strap, a .strandberg* wall hanger, and an Allen Key kit.
