"CHAW CHAWARUCH," better known as "CHAW COCKTAIL," is the guitarist of one of Thailand's top rock bands, COCKTAIL, recognized for their unique skills and numerous hit songs that have captured the hearts of fans nationwide. He serves as an inspiration and a role model for new musicians and artists in Thailand.
Chaw began his musical journey by releasing his first album with COCKTAIL in 2008 titled "In the Memory of Summer Romance," as an indie artist, blending rock with classic orchestral music—a refreshing style in the Thai music scene at that time, which became the band’s signature sound. In 2010, he signed with a major record label in Thailand and has since released 9 studio albums, along with soundtracks for series and films, performing over 100 shows per year, both domestically and internationally.
As the main arranger for COCKTAIL's music, Chaw meticulously crafts the guitar parts, developing rhythm parts and solos with a distinctive melody, while also employing intricate playing techniques and guitar lines, ensuring that COCKTAIL’s music stands out.
Strandberg guitars have always played a significant role in the design of guitar lines and the overall sound of Chaw's music, including models like the Boden Original, Boden Standard NX 6, Boden Plini Edition, and the Boden Essential. Notably, for COCKTAIL’s final album, Yours Ever, all guitar recordings were made using Strandberg guitars.
In addition to his role as a musician, Chaw is also a music teacher and runs a YouTube channel, "Chaw Chawaruch," where he shares content related to music and guitar playing, and acts as a producer for various artists within the Thai music industry.
