Origin
Sustainability has never been more important, and we need to care for our planet as much as we care for our music and creativity. This reality is what inspired the resq:d project, a project meant to eliminate the waste associated with appearance in wood product manufacturing. Pieces of natural materials always have little to great variation in grain and color, which makes them qualified for use with certain products and finishes and not others. The resq:d series instruments are made from bodies with such aesthetic deviations that are refinished and offered as professional performance instruments at a competitive price to spread the joy of music to more players, while caring for the future.
Sound
Each model in the resq:d series of instruments began its life as another .strandberg* guitar, which means that there is a great deal of variation in materials and construction within this family. As such, some models will feature tonal characteristics equal to an Original model, a Standard model, a Fusion model, or any other core .strandberg* guitar that happens to have been affected by aesthetic material selection at a certain time. A diverse family of sounds that all have their place in the world of creativity and music.
