Zach “Mac Glocky” MacLachlan is a songwriter and music YouTuber. He first gained notoriety on TikTok creating “What If X Band Wrote Y Song” videos, covers that he dubs “Fantasy Covers.” In his videos, he has done impressions of several bands and singers including Deftones, Incubus, Arctic Monkeys, Alien Ant Farm, KoRn, System of a Down, Elliott Smith, Green Day, and many more. He has amassed over 20,000,000 total views on YouTube, with several massively viral shorts across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. He releases these recreations on compilations to all streaming platforms.
Mac has also released some original material. His song “Oizys” is approaching 1,000,000 streams on Spotify, and his song “Never Get Nowhere,” which fans have called “if Brandon Boyd sang for CKY,” is accompanied by a claymation music video by Stephen Coad on his YouTube channel.
