RACKETT, a loud and experimental punk-pop band based in Sydney, Australia, has evolved from just another unknown entity to playing in major venues and festivals throughout Australia. The band has also garnered regular airplay on community and commercial radio, features in Rolling Stone magazine, getting the exposure to reach a wider audience and critical acclaim.
The band was also the featured talent in national campaign for General Pants and earned a well-deserved reputation for “thrilling” live shows, technically proficient and powerful sound and a DIY hyper-femme aesthetic”. RACKETT’s sound and style can be described as spunky, aggressive and catchy with plenty of fun factor thrown in.
RACKETT has been on local tours supporting the likes of Abbe May, The Bennies, Sticky Fingers, and DZ Deathrays and have completed national tours with The Darkness (UK), Killing Heidi and Stonefield, honing their adventurous live shows described by The Music as “intense and magical”. The highly driven and energetic band has also appeared at Groovin the Moo, Big Pineapple Festival, Secret Garden Festival, Hotter than Hell, Electric Lady and more. Building on this success, look for RACKETT to continue its ascent in the pop world in the near future.

The Sälen is at once familiar and strikingly bold, vintage and futuristic, yesterday and tomorrow – the solidbody Classic Trans Butterscotch has a beautiful snap due to the Ash body and Maple board combo. Confronted with the whole .strandberg* lineup, it was an easy choice for front-woman Bec.
The Boden Classic is the .strandberg* take on the tried-and-true traditional bolt-on solidbody electric guitars with a pickguard. Featuring solid Alder body with Maple neck and Maple or Pau Ferro fretboard, the overall sound is familiar yet with the distinctive .strandberg* sound and feel. We made Kat a one-of-a-kind pink rendition of this modern Classic for maximum stage impact – our standard Malta Blue is as close as you will get.

“Rackett really couldn’t be doing any more right. They’ve played and played and played, they’ve quite clearly landed on a musical spot they’re all delighted to be on, and they’re tight, focussed, and in the damn zone. They’re also madder than a box of frogs… fast becoming my band of the year”,
– Teds Records.
