Visually defined by the unique Black Doppler finish, the Boden Metal NX 8 Sarah Longfield Edition is a versatile instrument that can cover a wide variety of musical styles and genres besides metal. Creatively and spontaneously conceived by Sarah, the finishing process requires painstakingly detailed workmanship from the application of the artwork decal to the final gloss clear coat finish. The result is an instrument that is as artistically stunning as it is musically versatile.
What does it do?
The wood combination of the Metal model was thoughtfully selected for the best possible high-gain distortion sounds as well as versatility. Featuring chambered American Basswood body with a quarter-inch Maple top, the body delivers a full and rich midrange with a defined and punchy low-end. The quartersawn Maple neck adds tightness and articulation while the Richlite fretboard contributes sparkle as well as an exceptionally smooth playing surface. The Fishman Fluence humbuckers deliver these acoustic characteristics with authority and musicality while offering a wide variety of humbucker and single-coil tones for the utmost in versatility.
