Why .strandberg*?

.strandberg* guitars share some common traits:
- Their body shape encourages changing playing positions when seated, allowing you to find what is most comfortable and relaxing.
- Their low weight and perfect balance make them comfortable to play when standing up, reducing stress and fatigue in your entire body.
- Their scale length(s) and neck profile are adapted to your unique playing style and size.
- Being headless, they will gladly follow you wherever you go and fit easily into overhead bins and the likes.
When you order a .strandberg* guitar, we work together to find material choices, scale lengths and a neck profile that is the optimal for you.
It is simple: feel better – sound better.
The unique construction methods of .strandberg* guitars turn a lot of conventional wisdom on its head. Lightweight hardware that is all tightly coupled with a minimum of points of transfer of the strings’ energy into the wood of the body and careful use of carbon fiber provides all the sustain and attack you need in a package that weighs half of most other guitars.
Each string has its own combined bridge and tailpiece (hardtail version) that is mounted with two screws straight into the wood. This means not only that the cross-talk between strings is minimized, but also that 12 screws hold 6 strings to the body compared to three or four in many conventional bridges/tailpieces. The bridges are constructed from lightweight and stiff aircraft aluminium. The low weight provides a minimum of inertia that would otherwise prevent the string from transferring its vibrations to the body.
