Chris Letchford of Scale the Summit is one of the rapidly rising stars on the progressive metal heavens and appears on most “Top X Guitarist” lists. Scale the Summit have headlined tours as well as toured with Dream Theater, Zappa Plays Zappa, Cynic, Devin Townsend, Between The Buried And Me, Protest The Hero, Big Elf, and many more. Their third album, The Collective, was released in 2011 on Prosthetic Records, following the critically acclaimed Carving Desert Canyons and their self-released Monument from 2006.

Chris wanted a guitar that travels well, sounds great and that has distinctive looks – all traits of a .strandberg* guitar, and we started our collaboration in June of 2010, with Chris as the first official endorsee of .strandberg* guitars. He received his guitar in October, just in time for recording Scale the Summit’s third album, The Collective.
